Antoneatte Njeri Karebe, recently awarded Best Lady graduate by KASNEB Kenya for emerging top in her CPA papers 5 and 6 examination; attributes her achievements to hard work, attending classes, attempting exams and quizzes, and participating in group work activities.
She is delighted that all her hard work paid off and that she is now well-equipped to tackle accounting matters in her professional field. Antoneatte currently works as an Audit Assistant at Clyde and Associates CPA (K), an audit, tax and management consultant firm.
“It took a lot of work to achieve this great performance. I was taking full-time and evening classes to cover the two sections, which placed me in school for the better part of any day. I avoided missing classes and attempted all CATs and quizzes, which I found particularly beneficial. I was also keen on group work and following up with lecturers. Good lecturers and a good study group played a very important role, I should say.”
With the release of these results, Antoneatte, at 20 years of age, has officially completed all her CPA papers: having studied the course for a period of one and half years.
“I have done all 18 papers; this was the last set. I combined sections 1&2 as well as 3&4 and passed all, but this is the first time I have received awards.” Antoneatte will rejoin Strathmore University for the July 2018 Bachelor of Commerce exempt class.
“While waiting to start my B Com classes, I’m focused on gaining as much as I can in practical skills to become a good practitioner and professional.”
Congratulations Antoneatte on your great success!!!
